Zero defects is the tangible goal for everyone in every process through longer time study and continuously improving. 
We cannot ensure what we don't know, but we can ensure the quality of what had experienced and known through continuously improving in LEAN.

We demonstrate our quality assurance capability by the manufacturing process of veress needle here.
For a veress needle with 5 components only, we have more than 114 times various inspections. And for each piece of device, at least 40 times 100% inspection  for various critical points we identified and could ensure it by one piece flow manufacturing instead batch production. There are 3 times repeated 100% inspection for most dangerous process,gluing process, for each piece of veress needle.
